Opel welcomes 151 new apprentices for 2026 training year
Opel has welcomed 151 new apprentices and dual students for its 2026 training cohort across various locations in Germany. The intake includes 100 trainees in Rüsselsheim, 33 in Kaiserslautern, and nine each in Eisenach and Bochum.
The training programs cover technical, commercial, and IT professions, as well as dual study courses in fields such as applied computer science, vehicle system technology, and electromobility. The curriculum is designed to address the evolving needs of the automotive industry, specifically focusing on high-voltage technology, system technology, digitalization, and automation.
