Wacken Open Air 2026 sells out all 85,000 tickets for 35th edition

The Wacken Open Air metal festival in Wacken, Schleswig‑Holstein, will take place from 29 July to 1 August 2026, marking its 35th anniversary. All 85,000 tickets have been sold out, with the general price set at €349. Organisers Thomas Jensen and Holger Hübner thanked fans and noted that the sold‑out status was confirmed a week before the event.

Headliners announced include Judas Priest, Def Leppard and Powerwolf, alongside numerous other metal acts. The festival, recognised as one of the world’s largest heavy‑metal gatherings, will also offer a full program of concerts, workshops and shows. Unused tickets can be resold safely through the official Wacken Ticket Market.
