Open Metz-Grand Est tennis tournament announces player lineup

The inaugural Open Metz-Grand Est, an ATP Challenger 125 indoor hard-court tournament, is scheduled to take place from November 15 to 22 at the Arènes de Metz. Replacing the former Moselle Open, the event is now organized by the French Tennis Federation (FFT).

The tournament features a high-level field including seven players ranked in the ATP Top 100. Notable participants include Daniel Altmaier (60th), Mattia Bellucci (66th), Adrian Mannarino (73rd), Kyrian Jacquet (79th), and Benjamin Bonzi (99th). Former world number 16 Nikoloz Basilashvili is also set to compete.

Tournament director Julien Benneteau indicated that at least one-third of the final draw is expected to consist of French players. The event will also include an exhibition match on November 22 featuring Mansour Bahrami, Richard Gasquet, Cédric Pioline, and Julien Benneteau. Wildcards have been awarded to Harold Mayot and Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
