Open Praxis journal wins OEGlobal 2026 Excellence Award

Open Praxis, an international open-access scientific journal managed by Anadolu University, has received the ‘Open Assets’ award in the OEGlobal 2026 Excellence Awards. The journal is the open-access publication organ of the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE).

Recognized for promoting global open education practices, equitable information sharing, and academic excellence, the journal is indexed in the Q1 category of prestigious databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The editorial leadership includes Editor-in-Chief Prof. Dr. Aras Bozkurt and Assistant Editor Prof. Dr. Serpil Koçdar.

Prof. Dr. Aras Bozkurt attributed the success to collective academic effort, stating, “This award is presented to Open Praxis on behalf of Anadolu University, but this success belongs to our wide community, our dedicated editorial board members, the authors who share their research with us, and most importantly, the reviewers who dedicate their valuable time.”
