OpenAI updates ChatGPT with temporary chat and task scheduling

OpenAI has introduced several updates to ChatGPT, focusing on user control and expanded functionality. A new feature for temporary chats allows users to personalize these sessions using existing memories, custom instructions, and plugins. While temporary chats do not create new memories or use data for model training while in that mode, users now have the option to save a valuable temporary conversation to their permanent chat history.

Additionally, OpenAI has expanded access to its task planner, making the ability to schedule and manage automated prompts available to free account users, whereas it was previously restricted to paid tiers. The update also includes support for multiple Google accounts simultaneously, enhancing integration with Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts.
