OpenAI adds new ChatGPT tools while AI pet‑care advice raises safety concerns

OpenAI rolled out several new ChatGPT features, including an enhanced memory system called “Dreaming,” a dedicated “ChatGPT Health” space for personal health and wellness queries, and a Projects function that keeps related notes, documents and tasks together. Users can now set scheduled tasks and reminders, turning the chatbot into a more proactive digital assistant.

Veterinary experts caution that similar AI tools are increasingly being used for pet‑health questions. Dr. Philippa Pavia notes that AI‑generated advice can be inaccurate, potentially delaying needed veterinary care, and warns against sharing sensitive medical data with AI models. She advises owners to treat AI as an educational supplement rather than a substitute for professional examination.
