OpenAI hits 1 billion users as Endeavor Chile unveils Agentic AI roadmap for startups
Endeavor Chile released a new roadmap titled “Agentic AI in the Chilean entrepreneurial ecosystem: conditions, patterns and value,” aimed at guiding startups and scale‑ups in Chile to integrate agentic artificial intelligence into critical business processes. The report, developed with Acid Labs and Oracle, identifies organizational challenges and offers a practical framework, with Endeavor Research director Andrés Alvarado emphasizing that the key hurdle is no longer technology but the ability to turn AI into a competitive advantage.
OpenAI announced that its AI models now serve more than one billion active users and over two million enterprises worldwide. The company highlighted recent price reductions for its GPT‑5.6 models—an 80 % cut for the “Luna” tier and a 20 % cut for “Terra”—and cited efficiency gains that lower overall service costs while boosting processing speed. OpenAI framed these moves as part of its strategy to make AI more useful and accessible.
