OpenAI lifts ChatGPT Plus subscription fee in Turkey to 999 TL

OpenAI has doubled the monthly price of its ChatGPT Plus subscription in Turkey. The fee on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store is now 999 TL, up from the previous 499.99 TL that had been unchanged for about three years.

The price rise also aligns the two store prices, ending the earlier disparity where the App Store charge was about 500 TL and the Play Store about 650 TL. OpenAI has not released an official explanation for the increase. In the same update, the premium ChatGPT Pro plan saw its price jump to roughly 9,999 TL, while the lower‑cost “ChatGPT Go” plan remains unchanged at 249.99 TL on mobile and $6 per month on the web.

Turkish users must now pay roughly twice the previous amount to access the advanced AI features, potentially affecting a broad base of individual and professional subscribers.
