OpenAI adds spend controls and analytics to ChatGPT Enterprise

OpenAI has rolled out a suite of new enterprise‑focused tools for its ChatGPT platform. Administrators now have access to detailed usage analytics that break down AI consumption by individual users, teams, products and model versions, and can set workspace‑wide credit limits as well as team‑specific spending caps. Employees can also view their own credit usage and request additional resources. In parallel, OpenAI introduced a “Scheduled” page in the ChatGPT sidebar that aggregates active and future‑dated prompts, giving power users a single view to edit, cancel or monitor recurring tasks. The updates are aimed at improving visibility, budgeting and governance as companies expand AI deployments across departments.

These features are part of OpenAI’s broader push to provide enterprise customers with tighter cost management, security and administrative controls, addressing growing concerns about unpredictable AI expenses while supporting wider adoption of generative AI in business workflows.
