Anthropic in talks to acquire Decart AI for $6 billion FAST-MOVING

Anthropic is reportedly in advanced discussions to acquire Decart AI, an Israeli startup backed by Nvidia, for approximately $6 billion. The potential deal, which would be the company's largest acquisition to date, aims to bolster Anthropic's computing infrastructure and expand its capabilities in real-time video generation and world models. Decart AI develops technologies such as the Lucy model for live video editing and the Oasis model for simulated environments.

This move comes as Anthropic prepares for a highly anticipated initial public offering (IPO), potentially in late 2026. Investors have projected that the company could achieve a valuation of at least $2 trillion at the time of its listing, which would surpass the record set by SpaceX. Financial projections suggest Anthropic's annualized revenue could reach between $100 billion and $120 billion by the end of 2026.

To support its growing demand for AI services, Anthropic has also secured a $9.1 billion, 20-year agreement with Riot Platforms to obtain 191 megawatts of computing capacity from its Texas campus.
