OpenPayd acquires 43 U.S. money transmitter licenses

London-based fintech provider OpenPayd has expanded into the United States market by integrating MSB USA, a move that brings 43 state money transmitter licenses under its corporate umbrella. This regulatory alignment provides the company with a compliant route to access the U.S. payments market for its global business clients.

The expansion occurs as OpenPayd prepares for a proposed merger with Titan Acquisition Corp., which is expected to close in the fourth quarter. This transaction could lead to OpenPayd being listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker OP, with a valuation of up to $1.145 billion.

OpenPayd currently reports annual recurring revenue exceeding $96 million and an annualized transaction volume of over $300 billion globally. Its client base includes digital asset-related financial services firms such as Kraken, eToro, OKX, and B2C2. MSB USA will continue to operate under its existing leadership during the platform integration process.
