Opensignal announces winners of annual 5G Global Mobile Network Experience Awards
Opensignal has announced the winners of its annual 5G Global Mobile Network Experience Awards, which evaluate billions of real-world user experiences. The awards assess categories including Download Speed, Video, Games, Voice App, Reliability, Coverage Experience, and a new category for 2026, Time on 5G.
In large land-area markets, Brazil’s Vivo retains its title for 5G Download Speed, with Claro and TIM recognized as Global Leaders. In small land-area markets, South Korea’s SK Telecom took the lead in download speed, surpassing KT with 495.1 Mbps.
Other notable winners include T-Mobile US, which repeated its win for 5G Coverage Experience in large land-area markets and led the new Time on 5G category. Singtel maintained its win for 5G Coverage Experience in small land-area markets, while Singapore’s StarHub topped the Time on 5G category for small markets. In Japan, au and SoftBank jointly led large land-area markets for 5G Reliability.
