Opera Boat project to debut on Lake Bracciano

The Opera Boat project, conceived by E45, is set to debut on Lake Bracciano from October 8 to October 11, 2026. Following previous stops at Lake Bolsena and Rome's EUR Lake, the initiative transforms the Motonave Sabazia II into a floating theater.

Passengers will board from the Trevignano Romano pier to experience contemporary opera performances while the vessel navigates the coastline. The program features two daily performances at 17:30 and 18:30, pairing lyrical voices with solo instruments such as the guitar, clarinet, or oboe.

This edition focuses on four female figures through musical portraits. The project is a collaborative effort involving local entities, including the Municipality of Trevignano Romano and the Lake Bracciano Consortium, aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the Lazio region and attracting visitors outside the peak season.
