Warsaw: Body of missing 13-year-old girl recovered from Vistula River

The body of 13-year-old Roksana Jurczyszyn was recovered from the Vistula River near the Świętokrzyski Bridge in Warsaw on October 27. The teenager had been missing since October 10 after telling her parents she was going to a friend's house.

The discovery was made by Daniel Dymiński, a diver who had previously been involved in searching for his own son. Items found near the body, including a school ID, keys, and a mobile phone, may assist in confirming the identity through DNA testing.

Private detective Kamil Sobkiewicz, who assisted the family, noted that the area around the bridge should have been more thoroughly searched by authorities during the initial search period. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the disappearance.
