Opera stars Carreras and Domingo to perform in Brno's new arena

Renowned opera singers José Carreras and Plácido Domingo are scheduled to perform at the new T Arena in Brno. Accompanied by the Brno Philharmonic under the direction of David Giménez, the concert will feature works by Verdi and Puccini. The T Arena, currently under construction with estimated costs reaching 5.7 billion CZK, is designed to hold 13,300 spectators and will serve as the home for the Kometa Brno hockey club.

In Prague, soprano Sarah Brightman will return for her ‘A Winter Symphony’ show at the O2 Arena on November 26, 2026. The production combines orchestral music, a choir, and visual elements, featuring both her greatest hits and winter classics. The performance will include special guests such as Tonči Huljić.
