Operaprima-Wien to present Madama Butterfly preview in Udine

The association Operaprima-Wien will host a “Cultur-Music-Mob” event on Wednesday, August 19, at 18:00 in Piazza San Giacomo, Udine. This open dialogue serves as a preview for the upcoming production of Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

The event, held at Bar San Giacomo, aims to discuss the role of music as a social and cultural bond. The discussion will be led by musicologist Alessio Screme and Operaprima-Wien artistic director Tiziano Duca, alongside members of the lyrical cast and local youth who assisted in creating the scenography and stage movements.

The full production of Madama Butterfly is scheduled to take place at Villa Sabbatini in Pozzuolo del Friuli on August 28, August 30, and September 1.
