Operation Mincemeat musical begins North American tour

The musical comedy “Operation Mincemeat” is launching its North American tour, with performances scheduled at the Providence Performing Arts Center and the CIBC Theatre in Chicago.

Based on a true World War II covert operation, the show follows a deception involving a body found on the Spanish coast containing secret plans intended to mislead Axis forces. Written by the comedy troupe SpitLip, the production features a small cast of five actors portraying over eighty characters. The musical follows the success of its previous runs on the West End and Broadway.
