Operation Rescue reports medical complications at abortion clinics

Watchdog group Operation Rescue has reported medical complications at abortion facilities in Illinois and Colorado. In Illinois, a 26-year-old woman required emergency transport from a Planned Parenthood facility in Aurora due to heavy bleeding. Additionally, a 16-year-old girl reportedly experienced complications during a procedure at the Alamo Women’s Clinic in Carbondale.

In Colorado, activists are organizing the ‘Justice for Lexi’ campaign to advocate for increased safety regulations following the death of 18-year-old Lexi Arguello. Arguello died from complications during a second-trimester abortion at a Planned Parenthood in Fort Collins. Advocates claim the clinic delayed calling emergency services, and the group alleges that multiple other women have sustained injuries at the facility.
