Opificio Golinelli to host food and sustainability workshops

Opificio Golinelli will host a series of free interactive workshops for children aged 4 to 13 on Saturday, September 19. Part of the Hi-Welfare project, the event aims to teach families about the connections between nutrition, health, and environmental sustainability through scientific discovery and play.

The program features five distinct stations:

• Kitchen Chemistry: Using chemical tests to identify nutrients in food. • Science of Eggs: Learning to read food labels and product codes. • Food Pyramid: Using wooden models to understand balanced nutrition. • Sustainability Mission: A robotics activity simulating environmental and dietary challenges. • Chocolate Science: Using stereomicroscopes to observe cocoa seeds and study the production supply chain.

The workshops will be held in two afternoon sessions, from 15:15 to 16:30 and from 17:00 to 18:15. Admission is free, but mandatory reservation and registration for the Fondazione Golinelli newsletter are required.
