OPLE Veracruz launches guide for disability rights support

The Local Electoral Public Organism of the State of Veracruz (OPLE Veracruz), as part of the Disability Observatory in the State of Veracruz and the DiscapAmérica International Network, has released an informative booklet titled ‘Instituciones, asociaciones y sus estrategias en beneficio de las personas con discapacidad’.

The document serves as a tool to consolidate information from 15 associations and authorities within the observatory. It outlines specific measures taken to reach citizens with disabilities, provides contact details, and shares best practices to strengthen institutional coordination and facilitate access to assistance and guidance.

Hugo Molina Martínez, President Magistrate of the Electoral Tribunal of the State of Chihuahua, noted that the actions implemented by OPLE Veracruz are serving as a model that may be replicated by other observatories across the country to improve social welfare and prepare for upcoming electoral processes.
