Opole family confectionery closes due to traffic changes

A family-run confectionery in Opole is closing its location at Kopernik Square after more than six years of operation. The owners, the Tylczyński family, reported that turnover dropped by 50 percent following changes to traffic organization near the Solaris Gallery.

According to Aleksandra Tylczyńska, the owners' daughter, the removal of a pedestrian crossing and the installation of barriers have made access significantly more difficult for customers. The family noted that at least nine local businesses have closed or are in the process of closing due to similar urban planning decisions in the city center.
