The Gmina Reńska Wieś in the Opole region signed a contract on 30 July 2026 with the engineering firm Usługi Inżyniersko‑Budowlane “BUDMISTRZ” Piotr Górski to revitalize the historic Długomiłowice railway station. The contract, valued at 2 789 238,47 zł (gross), covers a 260‑day construction period and includes refurbishment of the façade, windows, doors, electrical, water‑sewage and heating installations, as well as interior works such as a senior club on the ground floor and adaptation of existing apartments.
The project is part of a larger €5.48 million revitalisation programme for the former station and its surroundings, with more than 4.26 million zł funded by the European Union’s Opole 2021‑2027 programme. The works will also restore the original roof wall and improve the surrounding area, though furniture and equipment are not included in this tender.
