Opole Voivodeship leaders discuss regional development strategy

During the Konwent Wójtów, Marshal Piotr Całbecki addressed local leaders regarding the amendment of the regional development strategy. This document serves as the primary planning tool for the voivodeship, determining the allocation of European Union funds.

Discussions between local leaders focused on support for municipalities through the Rural Development Program, offerings from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, and current programs managed by the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The regional board aims to submit the finalized draft of the updated strategy to the regional assembly by March 2027.
