Opovo Municipality distributes free backpacks to local students

The Municipality of Opovo has distributed free backpacks to young students across its territory to assist families with the costs of the upcoming school year. The distribution initiative covered all four inhabited settlements within the municipality: Opovo, Sefkerin, Baranda, and Sakule.

Local officials, including Municipal President Anka Simin Damjanov, participated in the distribution to support families and preschool children. The initiative is a recurring tradition aimed at easing the financial burden on parents regarding school supplies and equipment. In addition to backpacks, the local government has also provided free textbooks to support students as they prepare for the new academic year starting September 1.
