Opovo Municipality President highlights infrastructure and community development

Anka Simin Damjanov, President of the Opovo Municipality, highlighted the progress made during her two years in office, focusing on long-term infrastructure and community quality of life. Key completed projects include the reconstruction of the ‘Zoran Petrović’ Primary School in Sakule, the Villa Helene project, and the reconstruction of the Culture Center in Sefkerin.

Damjanov emphasized that municipal priorities remain centered on water supply, road and street improvements, and communal infrastructure, alongside social facilities such as playgrounds, schools, and public spaces. She noted that for a rural municipality, success depends on maintaining constant contact with citizens and addressing the specific needs of every settlement.
