OPPO develops widescreen flagship series with 200MP cameras
OPPO is developing a new flagship smartphone series, potentially under the Find X10 or Reno X branding, that deviates from standard tall-screen proportions in favor of a wider, candybar-style display. Reports suggest these devices may feature a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio, similar to the trend set by Huawei’s Pura X View.
Key technical specifications leaked include high-end MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chipsets, such as the Dimensity 9600 Pro. The camera systems are a major focus, with rumors pointing to multiple 200MP sensors, including a primary lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a periscope telephoto lens. Some models, like the Find X10 Pro Max, may feature a triple 200MP setup co-developed with Hasselblad.
Battery capacities are also expected to be significant, with some reports mentioning up to 7000mAh or 8000mAh. While specific launch dates and pricing remain unconfirmed, some leaks suggest a potential debut in the first quarter of 2027, with manufacturing potentially beginning in late 2026.
