OPPO begins ColorOS 17 beta testing for 49 device models

OPPO has announced the commencement of beta testing for ColorOS 17, its upcoming major software update. The recruitment for internal testing includes 49 models across three batches, featuring devices such as the OPPO Find N6 series, Find X9 series, OnePlus 15, and realme GT8 Pro.

Initial recruitment for the first batch of devices began on September 11 and is scheduled to run through September 15. Users who pass the selection process are expected to receive the beta version starting September 17, with all applicants being reviewed by September 23. The update is expected to feature a redesigned interface, smoother animations, improved multitasking, and new AI capabilities.

While a complete global rollout schedule has not been finalized, the official unveiling of ColorOS 17 is anticipated to take place during the OPPO ColorOS 17 Launch and Developer Conference. Expected eligible devices include various models from the Find, Reno, F, and K series, as well as several OPPO tablets.
