OPPO Find X9 Ultra launch in India showcases industry‑first 50MP 10× optical zoom

OPPO India officially launched the Find X9 Ultra on 21 May 2026, positioning it as a flagship device for users who prioritize zoom capability. The smartphone introduces an industry‑first 50 MP 10× optical ultra‑telephoto camera with a 230 mm equivalent focal length, achieved through a quintuple‑prism reflective periscope that folds the optical path into a compact 29 mm module. It also features a dual‑telephoto arrangement that pairs a 200 MP 3× lens with the 50 MP 10× lens, enabling up to 20× optical‑quality zoom and up to 120× digital zoom. Sensor‑shift stabilization combined with 2‑axis OIS is designed to minimise hand‑shake at high magnification. The camera system is co‑developed with Hasselblad under the Hasselblad Master Camera System banner. Additional specs include a 7050 mAh silicon‑carbon battery with 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, a next‑generation 3D Cryo‑velocity cooling system, and two colour options, Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange. The Find X9 Ultra aims to set a new benchmark for zoom performance in the Indian smartphone market.
