OPPO Find X9 Ultra Sets New 200MP Zoom Benchmark for Smartphones

OPPO launched the Find X9 Ultra in India on May 21, 2026 as the flagship of its Find X9 line, promoting the "Your Next Camera" tagline. The device pairs a 200 MP main sensor with a dual‑periscope telephoto system: a 50 MP 10× lens using a 1/2.75‑inch sensor (f/3.5) and a 200 MP 3× lens with a 1/1.28‑inch sensor (f/2.2). This configuration delivers true 10× optical zoom, up to 20× optical‑quality zoom and up to 120× digital zoom, while retaining image quality in low light thanks to the large sensors and 2‑axis OIS.

A recent leak of the upcoming Find X10 Ultra suggests further sensor upgrades. The prototype reportedly tests a 200 MP primary telephoto with a 1/1.3‑inch sensor and a 50 MP 10× telephoto with a 1/1.95‑inch sensor, potentially even a 1/1.12‑inch option. If confirmed, the 10× sensor would be roughly twice the area of the Find X9 Ultra’s unit, promising stronger low‑light performance and closing the gap that made the 10× lens the weakest link in the earlier model. The leak also mentions a possible Samsung HPC sensor under consideration.
