Oppo introduces Find X9 Ultra with Hasselblad optics and 10x periscope zoom

Oppo has unveiled the Find X9 Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone developed in partnership with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad. The device features a dual‑camera system with two 200‑megapixel sensors, one optimized for wide‑angle shooting and the other for portrait and advanced optical zoom. A quintuple‑prism periscope design enables 10× optical zoom while keeping the camera module about 30 % smaller than conventional periscope systems, allowing the phone to retain a slim profile.

Leaked information about the next generation Find X10 series suggests a similar high‑end strategy. The upcoming lineup is expected to include three models—base, Pro and Pro Max—with MediaTek Dimensity 9600 processors and 200 MP triple‑camera setups. Screen sizes will range from 6.59 inches to 6.78 inches, all using 1.5K resolution panels. A potential fourth, unconfirmed model may also appear, but details remain scarce.
