Oppo launches K15s and K15x smartphones in China

Oppo has launched two new mid-range smartphones in China, the K15s and K15x, focusing on extended battery life and physical durability.

The Oppo K15s features a high-capacity 8,000 mAh battery designed to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after seven years of regular use, or approximately 2,000 charging cycles. It supports 45W fast charging and is built to withstand harsh environments, holding certifications for dust and water resistance (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K) as well as passing 15 military-standard tests for impact and thermal variation. Technical specifications include a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 120Hz display with 1,400 nits peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, and a 50 MP main camera.

The Oppo K15x serves as a more affordable entry-level option, equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery and a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD 120Hz screen. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and includes a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The K15x also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
