Mobile technology updates: iQOO concepts, Google Pixel 11, and new smartphone launches

The mobile technology sector is seeing diverse developments ranging from concept devices to new market releases. Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has unveiled the iQOO X, a concept smartphone focused on gaming. It features a 7-inch Samsung OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, AI-driven variable refresh rates, and a 4800 Hz touch sampling rate.

In the consumer market, the iQOO Z11 has launched in India. This device features a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, a Mediatek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, and a large 7050 mAh battery. Meanwhile, Google has introduced the Pixel 11 series, which utilizes the Tensor G6 processor optimized for Gemini AI. The series includes redesigned camera housings and improved durability.

Additionally, the Minimal Phone 2 has launched a Kickstarter campaign. This device targets productivity-focused users with a physical keyboard, a 3.92-inch OLED screen, and a dedicated physical switch to silence notifications or disable cellular service.
