OPPO launches Reno16 Series in Pakistan amid Reno17 leaks

OPPO has officially launched the Reno16 Series in Pakistan, introducing the Reno16 and Reno16 F models alongside the new OPPO Bubble companion device. The series is positioned for content creators, featuring a quad 50MP camera setup, a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, and AI-powered editing tools. The devices include design elements such as the HoloVerse 3D Technology for a floating planet effect and aerospace-grade aluminum frames.

Looking ahead to the next generation, leaks suggest the upcoming Reno17 series may focus on advanced photography hardware. Reports indicate OPPO is testing support for a specialized external teleconverter accessory to allow for higher optical zoom levels without image degradation. While an experimental 68MP square selfie camera was reportedly under testing, that project has reportedly been shelved. The inclusion of such advanced accessories may lead to a higher price point for the Reno17 series compared to its predecessors.
