OPPO partners with Manus to bring agentic AI to Find X10 series

OPPO has announced a partnership with the AI agent platform Manus to integrate advanced agentic capabilities into its upcoming Find X10 smartphone series. This collaboration will power the ‘AI Mind Pilot’ assistant within the ColorOS 17 operating system.

Unlike standard AI assistants that primarily answer questions, this agentic AI is designed to understand complex end goals, break them down into multiple steps, identify relevant information, and execute tasks. For example, the assistant can consolidate scattered travel information—such as flight itineraries, hotel bookings, and restaurant reservations—from various apps to create a complete daily itinerary. It can also manage local files and photos, such as organizing trip pictures into a presentation or album.

To address privacy concerns, OPPO stated that the system utilizes on-device models for local tasks like searching, organizing, or renaming files, ensuring that original content remains on the device and is not shared with Manus. If a task requires external cloud processing, the AI Mind Pilot will request explicit user confirmation before uploading or sharing any relevant content.
