OPPO leaks suggest new Reno X and Reno17 Pro smartphones
Leaked specifications suggest OPPO is developing two distinct new smartphone models: the Reno X and the Reno17 Pro.
The Reno X is rumored to feature an unconventional widescreen design with a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio. This model may include a 6.35-inch flat display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset, and a massive battery capacity reported to be as high as 8,000 mAh. Its camera system is expected to utilize two 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL sensors.
The Reno17 Pro is expected to launch in China around November 2026. It is rumored to be a compact device featuring a 6.32-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Key specifications include the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset and a significantly upgraded 7,000 mAh battery. The photography suite is anticipated to consist of a 200MP main camera with gimbal-style stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, alongside a 50MP front-facing camera.
While the Reno17 series is expected to run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, specific details regarding charging speeds and official release dates for international markets remain unconfirmed.
