Oprah Winfrey discusses life lessons and new book club selection

Oprah Winfrey recently shared reflections on her life journey and her latest book club selection during appearances on Jay Shetty’s ‘On Purpose’ podcast and through Oprah Daily.

In a conversation with Jay Shetty, Winfrey discussed her childhood and the sense of purpose that guided her career. She described her early experiences, including the influence of her grandmother and the confidence she gained through reciting in church, noting that she felt a calling to a life larger than what she could initially plan.

Additionally, Winfrey highlighted her latest book club pick, ‘Hungered’ by Amanda Rizkalla. The novel follows the story of a 12-year-old girl named Sofia and her family as they navigate life while living in a car following a parental separation.
