Optima posts €222.5 million revenue in 2025, expands cheese market share
Greek dairy manufacturer Optima reported that its 2025 turnover reached €222.5 million, a 3.9 % increase over 2024’s €214.1 million. Pre‑tax profit rose to €11.3 million, supported by higher sales and a streamlined product‑customer mix in both domestic and export channels.
In the Greek cheese market Optima kept its leading position, raising its share from 13.4 % to 13.6 % and widening the gap with the second‑largest competitor. The company attributes the performance to continued investment in its strong brands—including Hepiris, Adoro, Dirollo, and Kerrygold—alongside innovation and communication efforts.
Export sales grew 3.8 %, driven by notable gains in major feta markets such as France and Italy. Management highlighted that, despite a difficult environment marked by raw‑material supply challenges and intensified competition, the group succeeded in placing its products on more households’ tables while improving commercial efficiency through targeted customer‑product mix adjustments.
