Optimum and A+E Global Media sign multi-year distribution deal

Optimum and A+E Global Media have signed an expanded, multi-year distribution agreement to maintain A+E’s programming across Optimum’s 21-state footprint. The deal includes A+E’s full linear portfolio, such as A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, FYI, Vice, Military History Channel, Crime + Investigation, Lifetime Real Women, and The History Channel en Español.

The agreement follows a long-standing partnership between the two companies. This development occurs as A+E Global Media undergoes a transition in ownership; The Walt Disney Company is selling its shares to Hearst Corporation, which is in the process of acquiring the media company.
