Option Travel expands Egyptian fleet with 32 electric microbuses

Option Travel has added 32 electric microbuses from Foton to its fleet to support sustainable tourism in Egypt. This move is part of the company’s strategy to adopt eco-friendly transportation solutions and align with global trends toward low-emission mobility.

By integrating electric vehicles, the company aims to reduce its carbon footprint while enhancing service quality for luxury tourism, VIP transport, and corporate client needs. The initiative is also intended to support the broader adoption of electric vehicles in the Egyptian market by fostering integration between transport companies, vehicle suppliers, and charging service providers.

Option Travel has operated in the Egyptian tourism and transport sector for approximately twenty years. Its current fleet includes nearly 500 buses of various sizes and 250 passenger cars. The company provides services ranging from business travel and employee transportation to the management of international and local conferences and exhibitions. It also holds ISO 9001 and ISO 39001 certifications for quality management and road safety.
