Optoma and ViewSonic expand visual technology presence in India
Visual technology companies Optoma and ViewSonic are expanding their presence in the Indian market, highlighting new hardware and software solutions at InfoComm India 2026.
Optoma is focusing on three strategic pillars in India: technology ecosystem integration, software innovation, and expanded local manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The company is moving toward intelligent software ecosystems, including AI-driven tools and the Optoma Management Suite. Additionally, Optoma is participating in the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) to ensure its visual solutions meet Microsoft’s security and management standards for enterprise environments.
ViewSonic is showcasing an expanded Pro AV portfolio, including Direct View LED solutions, interactive displays, and professional monitors. The company reported over 2X year-on-year growth in India’s LED display segment. New offerings include the LDC027-182 for Smart City Command and Control Centres and the LDC027G-091C for retail environments, which utilizes Flip Chip COB technology. ViewSonic is also presenting foldable all-in-one LED displays designed for mobile and fast-setup requirements in boardrooms and exhibitions.
