Optro expands to UAE with new Dubai hub for Agentic AI GRC

Optro, an AI-powered Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) intelligence platform, has announced its expansion into the United Arab Emirates by establishing a new regional center in Dubai. The announcement was made during the 2026 CAE Conference in Abu Dhabi.

The expansion aligns with the ‘UAE Government 4.0’ directive, a component of the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. This directive mandates that federal institutions convert 50 percent of government sectors, services, and operations to autonomous Agentic AI models within a two-year period.

As autonomous agents gain the authority to execute workflows and issue administrative decisions, the move aims to address increasing complexities in cybersecurity, data sovereignty, and regulatory compliance. Optro’s platform is designed to provide continuous risk assessments and automated compliance mapping in accordance with regional frameworks, such as the Central Bank of the UAE AI & ML Guidance and the Federal Personal Data Protection Law.
