Oques Grasses begins four-night farewell concert series in Barcelona

The Catalan band Oques Grasses has begun their farewell tour with a series of four sold-out concerts at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona. The performances, scheduled for October 7, 8, 9, and 10, are expected to draw approximately 220,000 fans over the four nights. The schedule was slightly adjusted after heavy rains forced the postponement of an original concert date on October 5.

Originating from Osona, the group has built a significant career over more than a decade, blending pop, reggae, funk, and electronic music. Their commercial success includes over 500 million Spotify streams and multiple gold and platinum certifications. Their 2024 album, ‘Fruit del deliri’, set a record as the most successful debut album in Catalan on digital platforms.

Fans have gathered at the stadium in anticipation of the final shows, expressing a mix of excitement and sadness as the band concludes its musical journey. The group previously shared on social media that they chose to end their career while things were still beautiful to ensure lasting memories.
