A new photography-focused application called Or It Didn't Happen has launched on the Apple Store. Founded by Samuel Moss, the app is designed as an alternative to traditional social media platforms like Instagram, specifically targeting photographers rather than content creators.

Unlike mainstream platforms that rely on public feeds, algorithms, and follower counts, Or It Didn't Happen operates through small, private groups. Users can create groups via links or join codes to participate in themed photo challenges. The app includes features for voting on challenge entries—with an option for anonymous voting—as well as group chats, direct messaging, and tools for organizing real-life photography events.
