Oracle and OVHcloud roll out sovereign AI cloud services in Italy and Europe

Oracle announced that its AI Database service is now available on Google Cloud in Italy. Customers can run Oracle Exadata Database Service, Autonomous AI Database and AI Lakehouse within the Google Cloud Milan region, keeping data residency inside the region and meeting regulatory requirements. The offering integrates with BigQuery, Google Gemini models and provides a natural‑language interface, and can be purchased through the Google Cloud Marketplace or via Oracle and Google partners.

Separately, OVHcloud has entered a strategic partnership with Indian consultancy Ltm to deliver sovereign AI cloud solutions across Europe. The collaboration combines OVHcloud’s open, compliant cloud infrastructure with Ltm’s AI expertise to serve highly regulated, data‑intensive sectors such as telecom, finance, healthcare, public administration and manufacturing. The joint offering includes AI‑native services, migration, modernization and end‑to‑end consulting, emphasizing data control, regulatory compliance and sustainable AI deployment.
