Oracle expands AI portfolio with GenAI Ask EM and Fusion Agentic Builder

Oracle announced two new enterprise AI offerings. The company introduced an AI‑native builder for Oracle AI Agent Studio that lets customers create "Fusion Agentic Applications"—AI agents that can monitor, coordinate and execute work inside Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications while inheriting built‑in security, approvals, governance and audit trails. The builder supports both natural‑language prompts for business users and developer tools such as Visual Studio Code, and Oracle also released a public GitHub repository of templates and an AI Agent Marketplace for reusable applications.

In a separate effort, Oracle made its generative AI assistant, Ask EM (also called the Oracle AI Database Assistant), available through the Oracle Enterprise Manager 24ai Marketplace image. The pre‑configured deployment reduces setup time, allowing users to test the assistant in a private subnet lab environment with minimal manual configuration. The marketplace image includes the required Oracle Linux VM, EM repository database, and networking resources, with licensing handled via BYOL.

Both initiatives aim to move AI from isolated pilots to production‑grade enterprise workloads by embedding governance and compliance controls from the start.
