Oracle launches AI Database services on Google Cloud in Mexico

Oracle has announced the availability of Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud in the Google Cloud North America-South 1 region in Mexico. This deployment allows organizations to run Oracle AI Database services within the local Google Cloud region, facilitating compliance with data residency, sovereignty, and regulatory requirements.

The service enables companies to modernize on-premises Oracle AI Database workloads with minimal application changes. It also provides low-latency access to Google BigQuery, Gemini models, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent platform, reducing the need for complex data flows. Users can integrate Google Cloud services with Oracle’s integrated AI vector search technology and the Oracle Exadata platform to support advanced AI workloads.
