Oracle launches Fusion Claw for governed AI execution

Oracle has introduced Fusion Claw, a governed agentic execution runtime designed for its Fusion Agentic Applications. The technology aims to transition AI from simple assistance to autonomous execution of complex, large-scale business processes by combining AI reasoning with deterministic enterprise computation.

To manage autonomy, Oracle utilizes an ‘Enterprise Operating Envelope’ to establish objectives, permissions, risk thresholds, and approval requirements. Each task is managed via an ‘Outcome Trust Harness’ that controls identity and data access, while an ‘Outcome Receipt’ provides a detailed audit trail of decisions and actions taken. This approach allows organizations to choose varying levels of automation, ranging from AI recommendations to independent completion of approved work.

Running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and powered by frontier models such as Gemini and OpenAI, the runtime currently supports 25 new agentic applications, bringing Oracle’s total portfolio to 75. These applications target sectors including finance, HR, supply chain, and sales, with specific tools for tasks such as accounting reconciliation, workforce staffing, shipment consolidation, and sales territory planning.
