Oracle maintains 2027 revenue targets amid cloud growth and security updates

Oracle has reaffirmed its 2027 financial targets, projecting annual revenue of $90 billion and an adjusted earnings per share of $8.05. The company is seeing significant growth driven by demand for artificial intelligence cloud capacity. Notably, Oracle reported over 400% growth in multi-cloud databases during the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year, supported by its expansion into 22 active regions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

In addition to its financial and cloud expansion, Oracle has addressed significant cybersecurity concerns. The company released a Critical Security Patch Update (CSPU) in August to resolve 925 vulnerabilities. Among the most affected products are Hyperion and Fusion Middleware, both of which contained vulnerabilities with maximum CVSS scores of 10.0, requiring urgent attention to prevent exploitation.
