Oradea advances infrastructure and maintenance projects

Oradea is undergoing several municipal infrastructure and maintenance projects. Asphalt paving has commenced on Lăpușului Street and within the underground passage at the intersection of Tudor Vladimirescu, Oneștilor, and Lăpușului streets. The passage is currently 95% complete, while the modernization of Lăpușului Street, which includes new sidewalks and bicycle lanes, has reached 65% completion. This roadwork follows the completion of utility network expansions by the Oradea Water Company. Traffic through the passage is expected to open by early November 2026.

Additionally, the Oradea City Hall has scheduled tree pruning and removal works across various locations in the municipality from October 12 to October 16. Affected areas include streets such as Aluminei, Slatinei, Dacia Boulevard, Spartacus, and others. Authorities have advised drivers to avoid parking near work sites and to follow temporary signage and staff instructions.
