Oradea and Nagykanizsa implement local regulatory and safety measures

In Oradea, Romania, the municipal office has launched large-scale on-site inspections of residential parking spaces. Officials are verifying whether tenants have displayed the required identification plates as mandated by local parking regulations. These plates must clearly show the unique parking space number generated by the digital platform, the vehicle registration number, and the contract number. The city emphasizes that old numbering systems or improvised, homemade signs are no longer compliant. Inspections are being conducted by the city's parking management service in cooperation with the local police.

In Nagykanizsa, Hungary, Mayor Jácint Horváth announced that the Széchenyi Square parking area has been reopened after new tests confirmed it is asbestos-free. A previous positive result was attributed to a laboratory error where a sample from the site was mixed up with a sample from an unrelated location. While the parking area is clear, authorities identified two other positive asbestos samples: one involving grey basalt stone near trees at Eötvös and Deák squares, and another involving gravel on private property placed in a public area. The city has ordered calcium chloride treatment for the affected public areas and is preparing to replace the gravel.
